We will work with you to regain strength, mobility, balance, and coordination. You will also be educated about risk factors and injury prevention.

For many years, physiotherapists have experienced positive results with their patients by using this specialized form of physiotherapy modality. This modality uses the natural buoyancy of the water, which reduces gravitational pull and decreases compressive loading forces that are present in land-based exercises. Aquatic therapy is shown to improve function in certain clients more rapidly than traditional therapies. You do not have to know how to swim in order to participate in aquatic therapy. We provide protective gear for your safety. Our programs consist of supervised exercises in water. Aquatic therapy is mostly prescribed for Orthopaedic (including Lumbago (lower back pain), Cerebral Palsy, post-surgery debilitation, muscle weakness, Arthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Sprains, and Strains and Neurological (for example Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury among other conditions).
